01 Feature launch in a legacy system
A tracker for non-linear repairs
Service teams couldn't track repairs in progress. With 25 statuses buried below the fold, most advisors skipped them. I replaced it with a 5-stage tracker that handles repairs that loop, skip, or stall. Key status updates increased in the first month.
02 Funnel optimization
Fixing a leaking job application flow
Job seekers were struggling to complete the flow, and most applications reaching employers weren't from real candidates. I reworked authentication, prefill, and the review step, and completed applications rose 30%.
03 Greenfield product
Managing assets, not cases
Service providers had the data to prevent fleet breakdowns, but it lived in disconnected systems. I designed Sentinel, a new standalone app that unified maintenance schedules, fault codes, recalls, and warranties into one prioritized view. It shipped and was adopted by multiple service providers managing large fleet portfolios.
04 Problem reframing
Updating estimate charges
Service providers could see an estimate total but couldn't understand or safely update the charges behind it. When a routine reskin request gave me an opening, I used it to redesign the whole workflow around one entry point with visible charge logic, clearing out years of UX debt in the process.
05 Team enablement
Building and owning a design system
Decisiv's apps had no shared foundation: duplicated effort, mounting debt, inconsistent UI. I took an inherited design language and built it into KeyDS, a full system I stewarded for 7 years. By the end, engineers were shipping internal tools without involving design.
